Nancy Luetzow, soprano, a member of Collegium Vocale since 2004, also performs with the St. Peter’s Singers and frequently as a soloist and ensemble singer for local churches. She is a former member of the acclaimed St. Louis Chamber Chorus, American Kantorei, and Bach Society of St. Louis. Her vocal style and timbre lend themselves equally to contemporary music: In 2005 she organized the mixed vocal octet Java Jived, known for its smooth blend and mastery of challenging a cappella arrangements of jazz and pop classics. A St. Louis native and graduate of Washington University, she retired in 2009 after nearly 35 years as sole proprietor and ATA-certified translator, dba Russian Sci-Tech Translation. She was recently re-elected to Kirkwood City Council.
